The Metro Manila Development Authority began its full implementation of the exclusive motorcycle lane and apprehended violators after a few weeks of dry run, which aims to limit the accidents along the main highway.

SAN JUAN —  Arestado ng San Juan City Police ang dalawang suspek sa panghahablot ng bag sa Barangay Addition Hills sa ikinasa nilang follow-up operation nitong Huwebes, Hunyo 20.Sa Sampaloc, Maynila natunton ng mga puilis ang mga suspek matapos na mambiktima ulit sa lugar nitong Miyerkoles. Nang maaresto, kinumpirma ng biktimang si Agnes Wang na ang mga suspek ang bumiktima sa kanya.“Kagabi mayroong reported incident na same modus, riding in tandem, hablot, nagreport dito victim at nag-follow din kami. So nung nagbacktracking kami sa dinaanan nila base rin sa witness, sinundan namin yung way… nakaabot kami ng Sampaloc,” sabi ni Police Colonel Francis Allan Reglos, hepe ng San Juan City Police Station.“Inamin nila na si &#x27;yung kay Miss Wang, positively identified din ni Miss Wang &#x27;yung vehicle na ginamit… Pati suspek may pagkakilanlan siyang na natandaan,” dagdag ni Reglos.“Ito po mismo &#x27;yung ginamit nilang motor… &#x27;yung gold na heat guard po… at &#x27;yung brand po ng motor pati &#x27;yung bonus na word po. Very identifiable po pati yung cellphone holder na naka-attach sa elongated na mirror… &#x27;Yung kumuha po ng bag mismo siya po &#x27;yung maliit po mata, medyo maamo po, nakita po namin picture at nakita namin sila, sila nga po,” sabi ni Wang.Dagdag ng San Juan Police, mga lehitimong miyembro ng motorcycle taxi ang mga suspek at modus ng mga ito na i-book ang sarili para lumabas na may biyahe sa lugar kung saan sila mambiktima.“Yung rider is a legitimate member ng ride hailing app, backride same din kabilang ride hailing app. Pero &#x27;yan ang talagang modus nila, &#x27;yan ang palabas nila… Nagbigay ng confirmation na sila lang ang naka-book sa area na yun, binook nila sarili nila para lumabas sa management nung app na umiikot sila dun,” sabi ni Reglos.Nakikipagtulungan naman ang motorcycle taxi company sa PNP.Desidido si Wang na sampahan ng reklamo ang mga suspek  na mahaharap sa kasang robbery holdup.  Tumanggi silang magbigay ng pahayag. Nasa kustodiya na sila ng San Juan City Police.
