We have patients with bills over P130,000 for a single session, and Philhealth only covers a maximum of P7,280 pesos. Most cancer patients cannot afford that, but our Yellow Card holders pay absolutely nothing,&quot; said Makati Mayor Abby Binay in a statement.</p><p>&quot;We are here to support our residents in their fight against cancer,&quot; Binay added.</p><p>Based on the Makati LGU&#x27;s website, yellow card holders are able to access &quot;government-subsidized health care to cardholders and registered dependents, city government workers and other qualified beneficiaries at the city-run Ospital ng Makati (OsMak).&quot; </p><p>Aside from this, they are also able to get access to the city&#x27;s barangay health centers, satellite laboratories, and birthing facilities. </p><p>Yellow card holders can also avail of the city&#x27;s &quot;unlimited dialysis, maintenance medicines, routine check-ups, and laboratory and diagnostic procedures,&quot; based on the statement.</p><p>The dependents of residents with yellow cards – as long as they are not over 21 years old – could also avail of these healthcare subsidies, the Makati LGU said.</p><p>Residents of the &quot;EMBO&quot; barangays earlier this year lost access to Makati City&#x27;s programs and benefits.
