MANILA — Labor Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma expressed concern over a video that has surfaced showing an alleged medical intern shooting video content that suggesting she recorded  a patient flatlining — indicating a possible death — at the hospital she was interning at.

“Concerned kami dyan.

Labor Undersecretary Benjo Benavidez said the management has the prerogative to lay down rules on employee behavior.

He also spoke on the need to be proactive in looking at whether certain behavior has overstepped boundaries set by rules and polices.

Laguesma also noted certain professions are subject to codes of ethics and licensed workers may be held to account following rules of their profession.
