<div><span>MANILA — Former senator Panfilo &quot;Ping&quot; Lacson alleged Wednesday that a Filipino-Chinese trader friend of his was offered P1 billion by ex-Bamban mayor Alice Guo to help her.</span><span></span></div><div><span>According to Lacson, the Fil-Chi businessman said Guo approached them during the height of the ex-mayor&#x27;s issues before she exited the country, and because the trader has &quot;connections within the circle of the first family.&quot;</span><span></span></div><div><span>&quot;Si Alice Guo nag-approach sa kaniya noong bago umalis, noong medyo ipit na ipit na at nagtatago na yata. Sherwin Gatchalian. </span></div><div><br/></div><div dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt"><span style="vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">“Possible ‘yan. I don’t have any concrete information now, may mga information lang  sinasabi sa’kin kung sino siya, di pa validated kaya masasabi kong possible ‘yan,” Gatchalian said. </span></div><div><br/></div><div dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt"><span style="vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">“Ang very sure ako kasama siya sa mga money laundering organized crime. Itong taong ito may limang passport kaya nakakaikot maluwag,” he added. “Nabalitaan namin nasa Hong Kong siya ngayon. From Taiwan kakalipad lang niya ng Hong Kong. So makikita natin na gumagalaw siya.”</span></div><div><br/></div><div dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt"><span style="vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">Guo previously said she was not aware that Huang was a fugitive. </span></div><div><br/></div><div dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt"><span style="vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">Gatchalian stressed the importance of issuing a warrant of arrest against Huang to alert Interpol about him and limit his movement. </span></div><div><br/></div><div dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt"><span style="vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">Huang supposedly helped Guo and her group when they were out of the country. </span></div><div><br/></div><div dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt"><span style="vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">Huang, along with Whirlwind executive Duanren Wu, allegedly helped Guo book a hotel in other countries and facilitated their travel, said Gatchalian. </span></div><div><br/></div><div dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt"><span style="vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">The senator reiterated the findings of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) which said that Guo first went to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as evidenced by the stamp on her passport, and not Sabah as she initially claimed. </span></div><div><br/></div><div dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt"><span style="vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">This is why senators are still looking into the veracity of Guo’s story on how they fled.</span></div><div><br/></div><div dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt"><span style="vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">Huang faces a qualified human trafficking case for illegal operations of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs). </span></div><div><br/></div><div dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt"><span style="vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">Gatchalian said Huang is an incorporator of the raided Clark Sun Valley Hub Corporation in the Clark Freeport where human trafficking was reported.
