Members of the University of the Philippines-Manila Student Council hold a protest in front of the UP Campus in Manila on Friday and reiterated their call on the UP System Administration of UP President Angelo Jimenez to withdraw from the Declaration of Cooperation it signed with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). The protesters claim the declaration is dangerous for UP and its community, and compromises the university’s academic freedom.
