Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo and her alleged accomplice Cassandra Ong are back in the Senate for another hearing on illegal online gaming operations in the country.

Also present in the hearing are Shiela Guo, the dismissed mayor’s alleged sister, and Tony Yang, brother of former Presidential Economic Adviser Michael Yang.

In her opening statement Sen. Risa Hontiveros said she will trace the connection between Tony Yang and the POGO hub in Tarlac.

Senate Pro Tempore Jinggoy Estrada earlier said the panel is set to wrap up its inquiry after nearly 4 months of investigating POGO operations.

Guo, who is currently detained in the Pasig City Jail, has been linked to a Chinese-run online gambling center in Bamban where hundreds of people were forced to run scams or risk torture.

She was arrested in Indonesia earlier this month after being on the run for months.
