Risa Hontiveros, chairperson of the panel.</p><p>Shiela was cited in contempt and ordered arrested on July 13, along with Alice and other individuals, for their failure to attend its probe.</p><div><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/2024/7/13/senate-orders-alice-guo-s-arrest-for-contempt-852">• Senate issues arrest orders for Alice Guo, others for contempt</a></div><p>It was later discovered that the Guo siblings had fled the Philippines in the same week.</p><p>Shiela was arrested in Batam, Indonesia in August, and was turned over to Senate to attend its hearings.
