According to the DA, even imported rice of good quality should only be priced around P50 per kilo.</p><p>&quot;Beyond P60 is really too much kaya maglalagay ng MSRP so consumers will have an idea na ganito lang ang presyuhan niyan base sa international market and other costs bago makarating sa pamilihan,&quot; said DA Spokesperson, Assistant Secretary Arnel de Mesa..</p><p>(We will put an MSRP so consumers can be guided on prices in the international market and other costs before they reach retail.)</p><p>De Mesa added that imported rice in retail outlets should be labeled with the country of origin, type, and level of brokenness.</p>
