MANILA -- Jollibee Singapore was named the best in customer service among Singapore fast-food chains by The Straits Times.Jollibee shared the top spot with American fast-food chain McDonald&#x27;s.The Straits Times, one of Singapore&#x27;s top newspapers, said it surveyed more than 10,000 respondents in partnership with market researcher Statista for its ranking.The brands were scored based on quality of communication, professional competence, range of services, customer focus, and accessibility.In a statement, Jollibee group president for Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia Dennis Flores thanked customers for their trust and appreciation.“This recognition from the Straits Times is a validation of Jollibee’s DNA — that our brand is not only about great-tasting food, but also about spreading joy through consistently great customer service,” he said.&quot;We remain committed to providing (customers) with both the delicious meals they love and the service they deserve,&quot; he added.The Jollibee Group has wholly owned brands including ChowKing, Greenwich, Red Ribbon, Mang Inasal, Yonghe King and Hong Zhuang Yuan, and franchised brands including Burger King, Panda Express, and Yoshinoya in the Philippines.JFC has been expanding its portfolio of brands worldwide with recent acquisitions such as Korea&#x27;s Compose Coffee and Taiwan&#x27;s Milksha.  It also struck deals to bring Common Man Coffee Roasters and Tiong Bahru Bakery to the Philippines.Recently, it took over the management and ownership of the Michelin-starred Tim Ho Wan restaurant chain.Jollibee said it was planning to open some <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2025/3/26/jollibee-group-eyes-opening-700-to-800-stores-in-2025-1539" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">700 to 800 new stores</a> globally this year, across brands and markets.
