Damage assessments for Cebu Provincial Hospital in Bogo City seen to be completed Friday

CEBU — Structural integrity assessments for the entire Cebu Provincial Hospital in Bogo City are expected to be completed this Friday, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).Secretary Vince Dizon said two buildings of the hospital were already cleared while repair work is also underway.“We already started the repairs para yung mga kababayan nating tini-treat ngayon sa labas ng ospital ay makapasok na. The DPWH as well as private contractors there started working as early as Wednesday,” he said.(We already started the repairs so those being treated outside the hospital can go inside)Dizon is set to return to Cebu on Saturday, together with the Philippine Red Cross Chairman Richard Gordon, to supervise the installation of tents for evacuees.He said the Red Cross will provide 1,000 tents that can fit one family each for areas affected across Northern Cebu.<div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/regions/2025/10/3/cebu-shifts-focus-on-quake-aid-distribution-as-search-and-rescue-ops-end-1410">Cebu shifts focus on quake aid distribution as search and rescue ops end </a></div>“I think they will start building the tent city already today.
