<p>MANILA –  Ride-hailing app Grab has launched a cash financing program for its drivers, which also offers “monthly add-on benefits” that include health consultations for them and their families. </p><p>In a statement, Grab said it has launched Buhay Asenso Cash Loan, which covers its drivers, delivery riders, and Move It riders.</p><p>It described the Buhay Asenso Cash Loan as a “practical safety net, offering quick access to funds and monthly add-on benefits that help keep partners on the road.”</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2025/10/30/grab-wants-new-carpool-service-fully-running-by-december-1538"><strong>Grab wants new carpool service &#x27;fully running&#x27; by December </strong></a> </div><p>“These span vehicle-maintenance discounts and basic health consultations for drivers and their families. The Buhay Asenso Cash Loan makes credit accessible through a mobile-first application and crediting process right in the driver apps used daily by Grab and Move It partners,” the statement read.</p><p>The cash loan, it noted, has three offerings through rotating monthly in-app offers:</p><p>- Pangkabuhayan or discounts on car maintenance and oil changes through partners </p><p>- Pampamilya or vouchers and tuition fee discounts under a bookstore partner </p><p>- Pangkalusugan or free consultations with Grab’s partner clinic</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/2025/10/3/turning-every-ride-delivery-into-asenso-1201"><strong>Turning every ride, delivery into asenso</strong></a></div><p> CJ Lacsican, Grab Philippines’ vice president for cities and head of Grab Financial Group,  said accessible financing is important in a “thriving gig economy.”</p><p>“Gig workers, such as our driver-, rider-, and delivery-partners, deserve reliable lifelines for urgent needs and long-term goals - from healthcare expenses and tuition to small-business ventures,” Lacsican said.</p><p>“When financing is within reach and responsibly delivered, partners become more financially resilient and are empowered to invest in their future,” he added.</p><div> </div><div>  </div>
