<p>MANILA -- SM Supermalls said its saw record foot traffic from customers in 2024. </p><p>In a statement, SM Prime Holdings said average daily foot traffic in their malls in 2024 reached 5.2 million, from the 4.9 million it saw in 2023.</p><p>SM Supermalls
president Steven Tan said this reflects the trust and loyalty of shoppers and the strength of the company&#x27;s tenant
partnerships. The mall operator said it now has 22,579 tenant stores, nearly 70 percent of which are micro, small and medium enterprises. </p><p>SM said it will attract more clients this year by hosting large-scale events like job fairs and fan meets and opening new attractions like its dog park Sky Bark. </p><p>Parent firm SM Prime said is alloting some P21 billion to expand SM Supermalls&#x27; gross floor area in 2025.
