Labor dept to hold job fairs on Independence Day at over 40 sites nationwide

Thousands of job seekers crowd the Labor Day Job Fair spearheaded by the Quezon City local government in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) at the MICE Convention Center in Quezon City on May 1, 2025. Close to 100 companies from private and government agencies offer 11,000 jobs to applicants seeking local and overseas employment opportunities. <p>MANILA — The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) is holding nationwide job fairs at over 40 sites for the 127th Independence Day this 2025.</p><p>The agency released the full list of job fair sites on Wednesday, June 11. As of June 9, the number of local and overseas job vacancies were at 89,408, according to DOLE.
