Kahit nga ako wala din … Halos sa mga kasama ko wala eh wala kami ganyan,” he explained.</p><p>Ramon Talacan, a taxi driver, shared that he always seeks out stations with lower prices to save money.</p><p>“Dito kami nagkakarga kasi nakakamura kami dito eh laki ng deprensya sa malalaking gasolinahan po eh kaya medyo nakakatipid ng konti,” he said.</p><p>He also expressed his frustration with the frequent price changes.</p><p>“Medyo malaki ang problema katulad nito ngayon tumaas na kahapon tapos mamaya uli tataas uli,” he said.</p><p>The rising cost of fuel is taking a toll on his income. “Medyo mabigat. Malaki nababawas sa kinikita namin ngayon medyo mabigat talaga,” he said, adding that it makes him want to find a more stable job.</p><p>“Parang gusto ko na maghanap ng iba na  may income na dire diretso ba. &#x27;Yung wala ka na iniisip na  magkakarga ka pa ng gas kasi halos araw araw po nagbabago po ang ano eh ang kinikita namin. Hindi pantay kaya ganun talaga. Kailangan maghanap ka ng mas mura na gas kaya medyo nakakabawi,” Talacan shared.</p><p>Regarding the fuel subsidy, Talacan said that while it would be beneficial, he and other taxi drivers have not yet received it from their operators.</p><p>“Sa amin kasi mga taxi driver parang hindi pa namin naramdaman po yun eh,” he said.</p><p>Meanwhile, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFB) on Wednesday said it is finalizing guidelines for a fuel subsidy program for Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) drivers.</p><p>The LTFRB will start the implementation if oil prices keep rising due to the conflict in the Middle East.</p>
