<div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/174928927839020210531-international-airport-departure-jc-025224160.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">Overseas Filipino workers queue at the departure area of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 as they process their travel documents for their overseas trip on May 31, 2021. <em>Jonathan Cellona, ABS-CBN News/File </em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA — Filipinos can now engage in the growing real estate market of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) after Filipino Homes has finally become a licensed property broker in Dubai.</p><p>In a release, its founder and chief executive officer Anthony Leuterio said this means they are opening up for legitimate, professional opportunities for cross-selling.</p><p>“Brokers in the Philippines can now market and sell Dubai properties in partnership with us,” Leuterio said in the release.</p><p>Aside from this, Filipino Homes—among the country’s largest real estate platforms—said through its international arm FHI Global Properties, they could legally and actively engage in property transactions in Dubai from now on.</p><p>“Brokers in Dubai can now partner directly with Filipino Homes to co-manage property listings, creating new channels for collaboration between real estate professionals in the Philippines and the UAE,” the firm said in the release.</p><p>There is a growing demand for Dubai properties, according to Leuterio, due to foreign investors who aim for a “golden visa.”</p><p>“A lot of foreigners and Filipinos want to invest in Dubai but don’t know brokers who are licensed there. Now, through FHI Global Properties, they have a trusted, Filipino-owned agency they can rely on,” he said.</p><p>Philippine-based brokers, the firm said, would also be able to take part in international transactions.</p><p>This is aside from the fact that overseas Filipino workers based in Dubai could choose to be part-time brokers or full-fledged real estate professionals through the firm.</p><p>“We can now collaborate with developers in both countries, leveraging our globally competitive systems and platforms. Filipino Homes is ready to facilitate business both ways—selling Dubai properties in the Philippines and Philippine properties to Dubai-based investors,” he said.</p><p>“Dubai is number one in the world in terms of real estate systems.
