MANILA — AirAsia Philippines said it is looking for new flight attendants.The airline said college graduates are encouraged to apply, but senior high school graduates are also welcome. Screenings will be held every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon from August 20 to 29, AirAsia said.But instead of asking applicants to come in the usual formal wear, AirAsia said it wants to see aspiring flight attendants in casual wear. In a statement, the low-cost airline asked male cabin crew applicants to come in a white t-shirt, jeans and casual rubber shoes, and female applicants to wear a white shirt, a denim skirt and heels.AirAsia said the applicants will undergo a &quot;more realistic work environment&quot; where they will be focused on how to serve guests instead of the &quot;usual runway screening.&quot;“We are reimagining the way we do our recruitment process to focus more on the essentials---talent, attitude and skills needed to become a successful cabin crew,&quot; said AirAsia Philippines Chief Executive Officer Suresh Bangah.Applicants must bring an updated curriculum vitae or resume with a recent photo. They must still meet the minimum height requirement proportionate to their Body Mass Index (BMI).
