Motorists and commuters continue to struggle as oil prices continue to skyrocket. <em>George Calvelo, ABS-CBN News </em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA — Oil prices may have a mixed movement in the last week of September, said the Department of Energy on Friday, Sept. 26.</p><p>Based on the four-day trade, Assistant Director Rodela Romero of the DOE Oil Industry Management Bureau said gasoline prices may drop by P0.80 per liter. Diesel, meanwhile, may rise by P0.05 per liter, while kerosene may see a P0.40 per liter increase.</p><p>This will be the sixth consecutive price increase for diesel and kerosene.</p><p>Romero said the geopolitical tension remains the primary cause behind the increase in oil prices.</p><p>The United States, this week, urged European countries not to buy Russian oil to pressure the country into ending the war with Ukraine.</p><p>Meanwhile, additional supplies in the global market are pushing prices down, Romero said, citing Iraq’s recent announcement that it will resume its oil exports to Turkey.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>RELATED VIDEO</strong></div><div><strong><script data-wid="auto" type="text/javascript" src="https://content.viralize.tv/display/?zid=AAFz86TOfDIfqXIe&amp;cid=ABiyI9peCNV9QlOH"></script></strong></div>
