Courtesy of DPWH</div>MANILA (UPDATED) — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon on Monday said he is bringing in a new team to help him fight corruption in the agency.They include Office for Transportation Security Administrator Arthur Bisnar, retired general Charles Calima Jr., National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Commissioner Rico Bernabe, Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) Chief Regulatory Officer Arrey Perez, who also served as former President of the Clark International Airport Corporation, and Atty. Raffy Turgano.&quot;I know them, I trust them, they were referred by people I trust,&quot; Dizon said.&quot;We need to really bring in new blood,&quot; he added.Dizon said their appointment papers have been submitted to Malacañang, and are now pending the President&#x27;s approval.They are expected to replace some of the current undersecretaries in the DPWH, who have all tendered their courtesy resignations.According to Dizon, he also asked former two DPWH Secretaries, Rogelio “Babes” Singson and Jose “Ping” De Jesus, if they could refer some names, when he met with them on Sunday.“Matagal na ‘kong nasa gobyerno pero ngayon lang ako nakakita ng organisasyon na ganito kagulo so I need help. Unang-unang tinanong ko sa kanila, who can I trust? Kasi naniniwala ako na the vast majority ng mga kawani dito maaayos na tao yan, pero marami ring hindi maayos,” he said.“Marami din silang mga binigay na pangalan sa’kin na former officials na nag-retire na, nagtatrabaho na sa ADB (Asian Development Bank), sa World Bank… Nagri-reach out na’ko sa mga taong yun,” added Dizon.
