MANILA — Infrastructure and engineering firm Megawide said it is set to build and operate the P1.2-billion Baguio City Integrated Terminal.In a disclosure to the stock market, Megawide said it entered into a 40-year Lease Agreement for the implementation of the BCIT Project with the Baguio City LGU on January 21.The company said this followed its receipt of the Notice of Award as the private sector proponent for the BCIT project, which was announced in October last year.Megawide stated that the project is estimated to cost P1.186 billion and covers the development, construction, implementation, and operation of an integrated transport terminal, as well as mixed commercial development within the leased premises.&quot;This award is subject to the Company’s compliance with all the conditions of the award,&quot; Megawide said.The company also operates the Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange and the Clark International Airport. It was also part of the group that ran the Mactan Cebu International Airport, before selling its stake in the MCIA operator to Aboitiz Infra Capital.Megawide is also involved in the Metro Manila Subway Project and the North-South Commuter Railway Project.
