MANILA – Cebu Pacific launched a major seat sale on Tuesday to mark its 30th anniversary, offering fares as low as P19.96 pesos to celebrate the year the airline first took to the skies.The promotion, which runs from March 17 to 22, covers both domestic and international destinations. The base fare—exclusive of taxes and surcharges—references the carrier’s 1996 debut, a milestone that disrupted the Philippine aviation industry by introducing low-cost travel to the archipelago.The travel period for the promotional seats is set for November 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, targeting the busy year-end holiday season and the first quarter of the following year.The sale includes the airline’s extensive domestic network of 35 destinations, including major hubs like Manila, Cebu, and Davao, as well as regional tourist favorites such as Puerto Princesa and Iloilo. Internationally, the carrier is offering discounted flights to 26 destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, including popular routes to Hong Kong, Japan, and Taiwan.In addition to the airfare discounts, the airline announced a 30 percent discount at several partner hotels, including Discovery Resorts and Summit Hotels, for travelers booking through the end of March.Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ leading carrier by passenger volume, has historically used aggressive pricing strategies to maintain its market dominance in a region where budget air travel has become the primary mode of transport across the country’s islands.
