<p>MANILA (UPDATE) — Oil prices are expected to fall again next week.</p><p>Based on the first 4 days of trading in the world market, oil prices may drop by the following amounts. </p><p>Diesel - P18.50/L decrease<br/>Gasoline - P3.50/L decrease<br/>Kerosene - P3/L decrease</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2026/4/14/how-much-have-fuel-prices-risen-since-the-start-of-the-mideast-conflict-0959" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">How much have fuel prices risen since the start of the Mideast conflict</a></div><p>If sustained, this is the second consecutive week of rollbacks after 5 enormous price spikes, which had pushed up diesel prices by almost P90/liter.</p><p>Diesel prices are now down by more than P18/liter, gasoline by over P3/liter and kerosene by P3.00/liter.</p><p>There is still one more trading day left today and prices are expected to further soften.</p><p>Current prices of diesel range from P120-P127/liter, while gasoline prices sell around P83-P92/liter.</p><p>If the rollback in diesel is P20/liter, the common prices by Tuesday will still be a little over P100/liter.</p><p>If the rollback on gasoline is around P2/liter, its price will still hover at the P80/liter level next week.</p><p>Jetti Petroleum President Leo Bellas said if the ceasefire in the Middle East continues in the next weeks, there is a chance that diesel prices will go down to below P100/liter but still way higher than the pre-war prices of P50-P60/liter.</p><p>Several motorists are also not satisfied even with a projected P20/liter rollback next week. </p><p>They claim that more big-time price cuts are needed to revert to the old price of below P60/liter.</p><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/oskKsvNTFQQ?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/nZ9xRLay1SA?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span><br/></div>
