<p>MANILA — Cebu-based fuel retailer Top Line Business Development Corp. is partnering with V-Green Charging Stations Philippines Inc. to build more electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the province.</p><p>Under their memorandum of agreement, the Topline Group will place EV charging and battery-swapping stations across Light Fuels service stations in Cebu, Mandaue, and Lapu-Lapu. Light Fuels is the gas station arm of Top Line.</p><p>Light Fuels stations will have one to two EV charging bays that can accommodate 18 to 20 cars per bay daily. Each charging port can charge an EV at an average time of 45 minutes. A battery swapping station will also be available for electric scooter users who will swap their depleted batteries for fully charged ones.</p><p>The EV charging stations are expected to be operational by the third quarter of 2026.</p><p>Top Line noted that based on the data from the Land Transportation Office in Central Visayas, battery electric vehicle registrations have grown from just 105 in 2024 to 822 in 2025.</p><p>“This strategic move aims to make our core fuel business future-ready in the current energy landscape,&quot; said Top Line senior vice president and chief operating officer Brigitte Lapasaran Lim.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/technology/2025/10/24/vinfast-v-green-to-roll-out-15-000-ev-charging-ports-in-bid-to-boost-electric-mobility-1102" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">VinFast, V-Green say to roll out 15,000 EV charging ports in bid to boost electric mobility</a></div><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/jI9a1p9yjK4?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span><br/></div>
