Real estate appreciates over time. It holds measurable value, easily verifiable through appraisal. It makes housing costs more predictable and protects families from uncertainties like rent increases.&quot;</p><div style="line-height:1"> </div><p style="line-height:1">The latest BSP data show production loans for real estate activities hit P2.876 trillion in April, slightly lower compared to March&#x27;s P2.897 trillion total, but up 8.1 percent year-on-year. In April, that number was 19.5 percent.</p><div style="line-height:1"> </div><p style="line-height:1">Broadhurst said &quot;the need for housing does not go away because economic conditions are difficult. We at CBS are here to help make home ownership a reality for Filipino families. When they purchase a home using a housing loan, they are also effectively increasing their wealth by paying down their mortgage. It is a steady, long-term strategy to accumulate wealth.
