MANILA -- Philippine Airlines (PAL) is adding more flights to the United States and Canada towards the end of this year. Starting November 17, there will be 10 Manila–Vancouver flights from 7 weekly.The number of Manila-Toronto flights will go up from 3 to 4 starting December 5, while the number of Manila-New York (JFK) flights will increase from 3 to 4 starting December 2. PAL said there will be a 5th weekly flight to New York during the peak December 2026–January 2027 holiday travel season.&quot;North America continues to be one of Philippine Airlines&#x27; most important markets,&quot; said PAL president Richard Nuttall. &quot;As travel demand grows, these additional flights strengthen our position as the preferred nonstop carrier between the Philippines and North America whilst providing our customers with greater choice, improved connectivity, and more opportunities to travel, do business, and reconnect with family and loved ones,&quot; he said.<div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2026/1/18/philippine-airlines-celebrates-85-years-showcases-new-airbus-a350-1000-0052" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Philippine Airlines celebrates 85 years, showcases new Airbus A350-1000</a></div>The airline also said the expanded schedule will provide additional cargo capacity to support growing trade, e-commerce, and high-value shipments between the Philippines and North America. In May, PAL said it will resume seasonal nonstop flights between <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2026/5/21/pal-to-resume-nonstop-flights-between-manila-and-sapporo-in-time-for-winter-1339" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Manila and Sapporo</a> for the 2026 winter travel season. PAL made $160.4 million net income in 2025.
