UST Angelicum College highlights mental wellness through running event

MANILA -- UST Angelicum College will be partnering with the Quezon City Government and National Center for Mental Health (NCMH) to hold a school-wide fun run on February 23 at QC Memorial Circle.

Underscoring the significant ties between active movement and mental wellness, the school's Guidance Week will have the theme "Step into Wellness: Moving for Mental Health" featuring engaging activities that aim to foster camaraderie, pride, and unity within the college community.

Aside from students, alumni, faculty and staff, Quezon City LGU officials were also invited at the event.

A school official emphasized that numerous Gen Zs are interested on running lately since it helps them to destress.

"It is a celebration of resilience, community, and holistic well-being. By participating, individuals take an active step toward a healthier, more mindful lifestyle, proving that wellness is not just a goal but a continuous journey," UST Angelicum College stressed in a statement.
