MANILA -- The Department of Health says there is no need to implement lockdowns in Metro Manila amid concerns over mpox cases in the Philippines.

"Wala po tayong natatanging probinsya na binabantayan. Kung tatanungin nyo ako kung saan ang pinakamaraming kaso, nasa Metro Manila. Kailangan bang kabahan tayo? Kailangan bang mag-ECQ, mag-GCQ? Hindi po," Domingo said, referring to the quarantines implemented at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
