In the Philippines dentures may range from <a href="https://aloradentalclinic.com/flexible-dentures-guide">P10K-P40K</a> depending on the material used, size, and quality. This is not a small amount of money for many as daily wages are only an eighth of this amount. According to a recent study commissioned by Polident, 83% of Filipinos who need dentures cannot afford them, 18% of Filipinos do not have access to a dentist, and 72% of employers indicated that missing teeth could affect their hiring choices, creating a cycle of economic disadvantage for those with dental problems.</p><div style="line-height:1"><br/></div><div style="line-height:1"><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/175249536772720250610080648_RHN06947.jpeg" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><span class="fr-inner">Photo source: Polident </span></span></span></div><div style="line-height:1"><br/></div><p style="line-height:1">To help address the dental health gap in the Philippines, Polident Philippines conducted its &quot;Oplan Balik-Ngiti&quot;, a community outreach advocacy that has already served over 2,000 Filipinos, at the Market! Market! Activity Center in Taguig City last April 11, 2025. The program offered free dental consultations and denture care education to Filipinos, helping restore their confident smiles.</p><div style="line-height:1"> </div><p style="line-height:1">A highlight of the event was the official sealing of partnership among Polident Philippines, the Philippine Dental Association (PDA), the Philippine Association of Registered Dental Technologists (PARDTI) and the trade partners from the leading drugstore retailers.
