The rare celestial event unfolds over the city, with onlookers capturing photos and videos of the glowing “blood moon” against the night sky.

<div>[[PHOTO ALBUM]]</div><p>Astronomy enthusiasts were treated to a rare celestial event as the lunar eclipse became visible while the sun was still setting on the horizon—a phenomenon referred to by astronomy experts as a selenelion. According to PAGASA, the eclipse was also visible across Eastern Asia, Australia, the Central Pacific, and most of the Americas.</p><p>The moon rose partially eclipsed just two minutes before dusk, entering totality at 7:04 p.m. and reaching its maximum at 7:34 p.m. For nearly an hour, the moon took on a reddish hue, commonly referred to as a Blood Moon.
