<p>MANILA — A former president of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) urged the government on Sunday to focus on high prices of goods and typhoon victims after Vice President Sara Duterte&#x27;s online rant early Saturday where she openly threatened President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.&#x27;s assassination if she is killed.</p><p>Duterte claimed in the livestream that Speaker Martin Romualdez, the President&#x27;s cousin, wants her discredited and dead because he wants to be president.</p><p>Romualdez has not participated in House hearings on how Duterte&#x27;s office has spent confidential funds granted to it in 2022 and 2023. He has also generally withheld comment on previous allegations from Duterte. </p><p>&quot;It is very disruptive, kasi maraming problema ang ating bansa, na sana &#x27;yung mga hinalal nating matataas na opisyal imbes na mag-away-away, magtulungan.
