<p>MANILA -- With the recent release of the Bar Exam results, several takers have achieved their dream of being a law practitioner.</p><p>Among the hundreds of takers, a handful of them claimed to top spot in what is dubbed as &quot;the hardest government exam&quot; in the Philippines.</p><p>But what exactly did these top-notchers go through to cement their place as one of the best Bar exam takers?</p><p>Newly-passed lawyer Maria Lovelyn Joyce Quebrar, the 6th placer in the rankings of the 2024 Bar examinations, shared her journey which eventually led to her grabbing the 6th spot.</p><p>&quot;Entering law school made me realize that I do not know a lot of things and that I enjoy the process of knowing things,&quot; she said in an interview with TeleRadyo Serbisyo&#x27;s Story Outlook.</p><p>Quebrar was a product of the University of the Philippines (UP) Law School and registered an 84.0600-percent grade in the exams.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2024/12/13/2024-bar-chair-passing-grade-lowered-because-justices-want-more-lawyers-1613">2024 Bar Chair: Passing grade lowered because justices &#x27;want more lawyers&#x27;</a></div><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2024/12/13/full-list-2024-bar-exam-passers-1457">FULL LIST: 2024 Bar exam passers</a></div><p>While it is common for every hardworking student to have countless sleepless nights, she &quot;proudly&quot; said that it is also important to have the right circle of friends while staying in law school to have the proper support system in tough times.</p><p>&quot;Along the way, I met my friends and my Bar buddies so I&#x27;m very proud to say that in my friend circle, four became topnotchers. Masaya po ako na &#x27;yung mga kaibigan ko mga good influence,&quot; Quebrar said.</p><p>When asked on how she would face being a lawyer in the atmosphere of the country where a lot of pressure is put upon topnotchers, she said that it is still best to &quot;learn from the well-seasoned&quot; in their field so that she &quot;would be able to make a significant change.&quot;</p><p>Kyle Christian Tutor, also a UP graduate, topped the exam with an 85.7700-percent grade.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2024/12/13/up-law-grad-tops-2024-bar-exams-1350">UP Law grad tops 2024 Bar exams</a></div>
