Kailangan itong maimbestigahan, kailangan itong mai-forward din sa mga ahensiya ng ating pamahalaan para kung sino yung kailangan managot, ay dapat managot,” House Assistant Majority Leader and Zambales 1st District Representative Jefferson Khonghun said.</p><p>“Para ka makaabot ng 1,000 na fake names, napakalaking operation siguro… Nagpapakita ito na intentful ‘yung paglinlang sa taumbayan, kung paano ginamit ang confidential funds… Talagang may motibo na gamitin ang pekeng mga pangalan para siguro ihabol ang liquidation, kasi hinahanapan sila ng liquidation,” House Assistant Majority Leader and TINGOG Party List Representative Jude Acidre added.</p><p>“Kino-confirm lang po ‘yung mga findings at saka karamihan po ng mga tanong doon sa aming hearings, na ‘yung mga tao na ‘yon ay hindi totoo at hindi nag-e-exist. Siyempre na-magnify lang po ito doon sa kasikatan ni Mary Grace Piattos, pero mayroon pa po pala siyang 1,000 mga tropa na kasama,” House Deputy Majority Leader and La Union 1st District Representative Paolo Ortega V noted.</p><p>The House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability, investigating the utilization of confidential funds of the OVP and the Department of Education under Duterte, will recommend the filing of complaints against officials allegedly involved in supposed irregularities.</p><p>“May mga recommendation ang committee na kailangan magsampa ng kaso sa ating law enforcement agency, kailangang panagutin sa maling paggamit ng confidential fund. At para hindi na rin ito maulit,” Khonghun said.</p><p>“Kung sinuman ‘yung makita na may pagkakamali ay kailangan managot sa batas, kahit na ito ay kasing taas ng opisina ng bise president, yung mga disbursement officers, kahit sinuman ang pwedeng tamaan, kailangan may managot sa maling paggamit ng confidential funds ng OVP at ng DepEd,” he added.</p><p>Duterte previously denied there was misuse of funds in her office.
