Israelito Torreon on Monday said they still feel that Pastor Quiboloy will be more secure in Camp Crame, considering the supposed security threats against him. </p><p>&quot;But knowing that, you know, the political air is not for us, it might be useless for us to insist on what we think is right for him, so might as well go with the tide and persevere and overcome,&quot; Torreon said.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2024/11/27/-resilient-fighting-quiboloy-transferred-to-pasig-city-jail-1744">READ: &#x27;Resilient, fighting&#x27; Quiboloy transferred to Pasig City Jail</a></div><p>Torreon noted that they have a pending motion for reconsideration on the decision of the court which granted the prosecution&#x27;s move to transfer Quiboloy from Camp Crame, where he was first detained, to his current detention cell inside the Pasig City Jail.</p><p>&quot;Kasi we might be wasting a lot of papers if we insist on our ano sana, kasi ang sa amin naman yung security niya, we felt before that he would be more secure in Camp Crame given the security threats against him,&quot; Torreon said. </p><p>Torreon was at the Department of Justice for the continuation of the preliminary investigation on the malicious mischief complaint filed by former President Rodrigo Duterte, as the administrator of the KOJC properties, against former Interior and Local Government secretary Benhur Abalos and Philippine National Police chief General Rommel Marbil. </p><p>Torreon said Duterte will be filing on December 16, 2024 his reply affidavit to the counter-affidavit filed by Abalos and other respondents. </p><p>Torreon also said the KOJC, through another set of lawyers, will be filing counter-affidavits to the illegal assembly, obstruction of justice and other cases filed by the government against church members in Davao City which were dismissed and re-filed in Manila. </p><p>&quot;Pero the aim really is for the dismissal likewise of these cases.
