MANILA -- The number of passengers heading to the Araneta City Bus Station in Quezon City every holiday season have dwindled in recent years since most of the long-distance bus routes were transferred to the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange.

Ramon Legaspi, manager of the Araneta City Bus Station, said on Sunday that the Araneta City Bus Station is not as crowded as it used to be due to limited bus routes.

“Sa ngayon limited lang ang ating ruta,” said Legaspi on Teleradyo Serbisyo. “Sa ngayon ang naiiwan na lang ngayon ay Batangas na lang, may shuttle going to airport. Binabago na kasi ang ruta natin: Lucena, Batangas, Pangasinan, Tarlac, ‘yun lang ang ating mga ruta ngayon.”

Legaspi said they are welcome to cater those heading to Southern Luzon especially those coming from Rizal.
