Mark Demayo, ABS-CBN News/FileMANILA -- Bicol-bound trips from the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange are departing on time starting December 23, said PITX Senior Corporate Affairs Officer Kolyn Calbasa on Monday.

Over the past few days, trips to Bicol have been delayed due to slow turnaround caused by heavy traffic in Quezon and Camarines Norte.

"As of now, wala nang delayed going to Bicol, hopefully tuluy-tuloy na yan hanggang bisperas ng Pasko," Calbasa said.

More than 200,000 passengers are expected in PITX on December 23, the last working day before the Christmas break.

PITX management clarified that even those without tickets may come and they can get tickets onsite.

"Yung fully booked trips advance booking yon, yung mga gustong mag walk in today, pwede pa rin naman po kasi nagdagdag ng trips," Calbasa said.
