Bong Go, particularly its links to the Discaya couple, Secretary Vince Dizon announced Thursday.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/9/1/-i-am-for-accountability-bong-go-says-he-has-nothing-to-do-with-dad-s-projects-with-discayas-1403"><strong>‘I am for accountability’: Bong Go says he has &#x27;nothing to do&#x27; with dad&#x27;s projects with Discayas</strong></a></div><p>&quot;Today uumpisahan na namin ang pag-iimbestiga sa CLTG Corporation... na sinasabing konektado kay Sen. Bong Go.</p><p>Dizon said the investigation would focus on CLTG&#x27;s &quot;involvement&quot; with Pacifico and Sarah Discaya, whose firms are among the 15 contractors that bagged most of the government&#x27;s flood control projects.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2025/9/18/some-of-the-top-15-contractors-have-unsatisfactory-performance-ratings-exec-1115"><strong>Some top flood control contractors have unsatisfactory performance ratings: exec</strong></a></div><div><br/></div><div><strong>WHAT IS CLTG BUILDERS?</strong></div><div><br/></div><p>According to a <a href="https://pcij.org/2018/09/06/firms-of-bong-go-kin-top-contractors-many-jvs-delayed-projects-in-davao/">2018 investigative report</a> by the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism (PCIJ), CLTG Builders ranked among Davao City’s top 10 contractors from 2010 to 2017. The firm was awarded about P1.85 billion in infrastructure projects during that period.</p><p>PCIJ also reported that CLTG won an additional P2.7 billion in projects through joint ventures with four other contractors, including Alfrego Builders, which is owned by Sen. Go’s half-brother Alfredo Go. </p><p>The report also revealed that CLTG was among the firms with the most delayed projects in the region.</p><p>Sen. Go during the administration of former President Rodrigo Duterte, but he said &quot;that’s all immaterial&quot; because &quot;any allegation of corruption needs to be taken to the end…and that is our job here.”</p><div> </div><div><strong>&#x27;WALA PO AKONG KINALAMAN&#x27;</strong></div><div><br/></div><p>In a press conference after DPWH&#x27;s announcement, Go reiterated his denial of being connected with government contractors Curlee and Sarah Discaya.</p><p>&quot;Kasuhan niyo (ang Discayas), wala po akong pakialam... Wala silang dapat proteksyunan sa akin dahil wala po akong kinalaman,&quot; he said, while also urging the Discayas to speak their truth.</p><p>&quot;I am one with the Filipino people in this crusade against corruption,&quot; he asserted.</p><p>Go also distanced himself from corruption allegations and said that he does not control the business of his family.</p><p>&quot;Kung puwede lang pumili ng kamag-anak, papalitan ko &#x27;yung kamag-anak ko... Anong kinalaman ko riyan?&quot; he said.</p><p>During a hearing of the Senate Blue RIbbon panel in September, Sarah Discaya admitted that St. Gerrard Construction General Contractor and Development Corporation and CLTG Builders entered into a joint venture agreement for projects in Davao region in 2017.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/9/1/bong-go-nagsalita-sa-joint-venture-ng-cltg-discayas-1409"><strong>Bong Go nagsalita sa joint venture ng CLTG, Discayas</strong></a></div><p>Sen.
