<p>MANILA - House Assistant Majority Leader and Lanao del Sur 1st District Representative Zia Alonto Adiong is set to file a bill seeking to institutionalize the livestreaming of the bicameral conference committee meetings on the proposed national budget.</p><p>Amid the flood control controversy, leaders of both Houses of Congress agreed to livesteam the bicam meeting on the proposed 2026 national budget for “transparency” and “accountability”.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/10/15/marcos-jr-wants-livestreamed-bicam-deliberations-for-2026-budget-1737"><strong>Marcos Jr. wants livestreamed bicam deliberations for 2026 budget; says no reason yet to veto </strong></a> </div><p>Adiong welcomed this to somehow address doubts on the national budget, and avoid “sideline agreements and dealings” among bicam members.</p><p>“Noong ipinasa po natin ‘yung HGAB (House General Appropriations Bill) noong 2025, mataas ‘yung (budget) sa education, pangalawa ‘yung sa health.
