<div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/175937422628920200219-sandganbayan-headquarters-JC-1035.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">The Sandiganbayan building in Quezon Cit on February 19, 2020 Jonathan Cellona, ABS-CBN News </span></span></span></div><p>MANILA — Former Procurement Service-Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) officials Allan Raul Catalan, Dickson Panti, and Gerelyn Vergara on Thursday pleaded not guilty to graft in relation to the procurement of medical supplies from Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corp. during the COVID-19 pandemic.</p><p>They were represented in court by their lawyers during their arraignment at the Sandiganbayan Fifth Division.</p><p>Also facing graft charges were former procurement director Warren Liong and Pharmally executives Mohit Dargani and Linconn Ong, who earlier filed motions for reconsideration.</p><p>Meanwhile, former PS-DBM officer-in-charge Christopher Lloyd Lao and former supervising administrative officer Arnold James Dupla were arraigned last August and pleaded not guilty.</p><p>The court set the next pre-trial conference scheduled for October 21 at 1:30 p.m.</p><p>The charges stemmed from allegations of conspiracy between PS-DBM officials and Pharmally executives in the award of allegedly overpriced contracts for COVID-19 supplies at the height of the pandemic.</p><p>The previous administration has rejected insinuations of corruption in the procurement of pandemic supplies.</p><div><strong>FROM THE ARCHIVES: </strong></div><div><iframe width="923" height="519" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/a3S_XTWKVFw" title="Local PPE suppliers nalugi umano dahil sa &#x27;pagpabor&#x27; ng gobyerno sa Pharmally | TV Patrol" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div>
