Jonathan Cellona, ABS-CBN News</div>MANILA (UPDATED) -- Malacañang has so far rejected calls to abolish the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), saying only those who were involved in corruption and wrongdoing should go. District engineers in the DPWH have been tagged in irregular projects, with some being accused of pocketing billions in public funds meant for flood control. Last week, Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian proposed abolishing the agency due to widespread issues on corruption. In a press briefing, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said despite these allegations, there are still many public servants in the agency. &quot;Hindi lahat ng mga nangangasiwa at hindi lahat ng mga taong-gobyerno sa DPWH ay masasabi nating gumawa ng kamalian.
