Vidal, OSP/File</span></span></span></div><p>MANILA (UPDATED) — The Supreme Court advised the public late Sunday against social media posts about Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo commenting on the supposed arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court against Sen. Ronald Dela Rosa.</p><p>The social media posts came after Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla said that the ICC  had  issued the arrest warrant, which was followed by statements from various government officials that the Philippines had not received any notification from the International Criminal Police Organization or the Interpol.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/11/8/doj-working-to-verify-alleged-icc-issuance-of-warrant-for-dela-rosa-1102">DOJ &#x27;working to verify&#x27; alleged ICC issuance of warrant for Dela Rosa</a></div><p>“For those seeking confirmation regarding social media posts attributing a quote in Filipino to Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo about an alleged arrest warrant for Senator Bato Dela Rosa, please be advised that these posts are false,” SC spokesperson Atty.
