Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., PNP chief, said.</p><p>(The PNP will do all it can to bring her back and have her face the cases against her.)</p><p>The PNP noted that Ong is already the subject of an Interpol Red Notice, which requests assistance from law enforcement agencies in other nations to help locate and arrest her.</p><p>She was <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/11/22/lucky-south-99-s-cassandra-ong-last-tracked-in-japan-paocc-1100">last tracked</a> in Japan in January after being <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/11/21/lucky-south-99-s-cassandra-ong-freed-during-congress-break-now-at-large-1538">released</a> from detention when the 19th Congress ended, according to the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC).</p><p>No case had been filed against Ong at the time but she is now among the accused in a qualified human trafficking case.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>RED NOTICE OUT FOR ONG, RONELYN BATERNA</strong></div><p>Meanwhile,  the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) said an Interpol Red Notice has also been issued against Ronelyn Baterna, who is also linked to Lucky South 99.</p><p>“Nakuha na ng gobyerno, sa pamamagitan ng Philippine Center [on] Transnational Crimes… yung tinatawag nating red notice. This is an international arrest warrant laban kay Ronelyn Baterna at kay Katherine Cassandra Li Ong,” said Casio in a Sunday news briefing. </p><p>(The government, through the Philippine Center on Transnational Crimes, the red notice. This is an international arrest warrant against Ronelyn Baterna and Cassandra Li Ong)</p><p>PAOCC and PCTC will coordinate with the Department of Justice and the National Bureau of Investigation to formally transmit these red notices.</p><p>Ong’s whereabouts captured public interest again after her associate, dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo was <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/11/21/alice-guo-to-spend-life-sentence-in-philippine-jail-gatchalian-0957">sentenced </a>to up to 40 years in prison following her conviction for qualified human trafficking.</p><p>Guo was also found to be a &quot;fake Filipino&quot; who <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/2024/8/27/how-will-alice-guo-case-affect-ph-s-late-birth-registration-system-1320">exploited </a>the late birth registration system to acquire Philippine documents.
