<p>MANILA — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Friday said he directed government agencies to coordinate with Malaysia and Singapore in relation to the air assets of former lawmaker Zaldy Co, which were the subject of freeze orders.</p><p>“Ngayong araw, inatasan ko ang DOTr at saka yung CAAP na makipag-ugnayan sa mga kaibigan natin sa Malaysia saka sa Singapore dahil ang mga pag-aari na helicopter at saka eroplano ay mukhang doon tinatago ni Zaldy Co at nakarehistro po ito sa kaniyang kumpanya na tinatawag na Misibis Aviation and Development Corporation,” Marcos said in a video message.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/regions/2025/11/28/air-assets-ni-zaldy-co-sa-albay-ininspeksyon-ng-pulisya-1402">Air assets ni Zaldy Co sa Albay, ininspeksyon ng pulisya</a></div><p>Marcos noted that the freeze order secured by the Anti-Money Laundering Council of the Philippines against the air assets prohibits their use.  </p><p>“Kailangan natin ipaalam sa lahat ng mga pugante: hindi puwedeng gamitin ang mga ari-arian na galing sa kaban ng bayan, ninakaw ninyo para tumakas o umiwas sa batas,” Marcos said. </p><p>“You cannot steal from the Filipino people and expect to hide or fly away on your private jets. You may have the money to run, but you cannot outrun the Republic of the Philippines,” he added. </p><p>Co’s camp earlier denied that he owned any aircraft. His lawyer Ruy Rondain clarified that the aircraft being linked to Co is owned by Misibis Aviation and that the former lawmaker and the firm are separate entities.</p><div><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?height=308&amp;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Freel%2F1559411178598185%2F&amp;show_text=false&amp;width=560&amp;t=0" width="560" height="308" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>Co has fled the country and filed videos from abroad accusing Marcos of being a prime beneficiary of the corruption.</p><p>Marcos previously slammed the video campaign as an example of &quot;fake news&quot;.</p><p>In his latest video message addressing “fugitives”, Marcos said: “Umuwi na kayo! Ang payo ko sa inyo, hindi na kayo turista. Hinahabol na kayo ng batas.”</p><p>Rage over &quot;ghost&quot; infrastructure projects has been building in the country for months, ever since President Marcos put the issue centre stage in a July address after weeks of deadly flooding.</p><p>Scores of construction firm owners, government officials and lawmakers in the archipelago country have been accused of pocketing funds for substandard projects.</p><p>Marcos noted that former DPWH engineer Henry Alcantara on Friday <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/11/28/ex-dpwh-engineer-henry-alcantara-turns-over-p110-million-to-gov-t-1415">turned over P110 million </a>to the government and would surrender another P200 million within the next two weeks.</p><p>“This government intends to bring back every peso, every asset, every person responsible and return it to the Filipino people,” Marcos said. </p><div><strong>— With a report from Agence France-Presse </strong></div><div><br style="caret-color:rgb(0, 0, 0);color:rgb(0, 0, 0)"/></div><div><br/></div><div><br/></div><div><br style="caret-color:rgb(0, 0, 0);color:rgb(0, 0, 0)"/></div>
