Dapat kanina pang madaling araw,” said MAKABAYAN President Liza Maza.</p><p>(That is why we are wondering why they didn&#x27;t let us set up. We were supposed to set up early this morning)</p><p>“Pinipigilan kami mag-rally. Pinipigilan kami na magsalita na dapat karapatan nating lahat,” she added.</p><p>(They are preventing use from holding a rally. They are preventing us from speaking up, which is a right we all have)</p><p>In an official statement, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno clarified that he had no objection to the planned rally.</p><p>He said the city government would provide the same assistance it extended during the September 21 demonstration and the Iglesia ni Cristo peace rally held on November 16–17.</p><p>However, Moreno pointed out that jurisdiction over Roxas Boulevard falls under the MMDA, while the National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) controls Luneta Park, which means organizers were expected to coordinate directly with these agencies.</p><p>“They should coordinate directly with them.
