Valenzuela, who served as the guest of honor, commended the informants and law enforcers recognized in the ceremony.“Sa ngalan ng Dangerous Drugs Board, saludo kami sa ating mga partners, informants, at law enforcers,” he said, noting that their work often comes with personal risk.He reiterated that the national anti-drug campaign requires broad public participation grounded in human rights and public safety.PDEA Director General Undersecretary Isagani R. Nerez said the informants’ contributions sparked 22 major operations that dismantled drug networks, seized large quantities of illegal drugs, and led to the arrest of high-value suspects.Among those honored were seven informants who each received ₱2 million for crucial information that helped authorities seize substantial volumes of shabu in separate operations between May and October 2025. These included a 1.48-ton shabu haul in Subic, nearly 895 kilos in Pangasinan, and several other operations in Laguna, Zamboanga City, Batangas City, Olongapo, and Angeles City.
