Several of the units were privately owned, including by foreigners. &quot;Pero di kasi &#x27;yun basehan eh. Dapat nating iparehistro kasi oras na ma-involve &#x27;yan sa aksidente &#x27;yan at di nakarehistro, talo din sila, sila din ang mapeperwisyo,&quot; he added. Owners are required to go to the LTO, present their documents proving ownership, explain why the vehicles were being used without proper registration, and complete the registration process before they can retrieve their vehicles. The LTO said it was verifying whether three of the impounded vehicles were smuggled. Lacanilao clarified that the agency was not targeting luxury vehicles. &quot;Di namin pinag-iinitan ang luxury vehicles. Lahat mapa-ordinaryong sasakyan, SUV, AUV, van basta nakita naming violation hinuhulihin talaga namin,&quot; he added.
