Jennifer Gannaban of the Quezon City Police District PIO said.Police earlier said IT engineer Mark Arjay Reyes, the fiancé of the missing bride, is now a <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/12/17/qcpd-missing-bride-to-be-s-fianc-now-a-person-of-interest-in-her-disappearance-1435">person of interest</a> in the case. This does not mean he is a suspect, according to Gannaban.“Ang person of interest kasi, sila ‘yung mga taong iniimbitahan natin dahil sila ‘yung huling nakasama ‘yung missing person natin. Sila ‘yung kakilala, mga kakilala, kasama sa bahay or may relationship. Minsan nga mga nakaaway pwede ring maging peron of interest pero hindi ibig sabihin nito ay suspek na siya,” she said.Reyes earlier said he did not take offense at being tagged as a person of interest as long as his bride-to-be is found. De Juan&#x27;s brother, Darie, has also been questioned by the Special Investigation Team.Authorities have likewise summoned and taken the statements of De Juan&#x27;s best friend and her workplace manager.Gannaban said investigators have also visited De Juan’s relatives in Bohol. There are no records of De Juan leaving the country or even going to a local destination by plane.She said there are no indications that De Juan has been kidnapped.“Malabo (kidnapping) kasi until now wala namang tumatawag sa kanyang pamilya or sa kapulisan na manghihingi ng anumang kapalit. Pero dahil wala pa tayong lead, lahat yan kin-consider natin until now,” she said.“So far, ito ang first case na ganito ka-challenging,” she added.The police official has urged the public to share any information that could shed light on De Juan’s whereabouts. “Hinihikayat natin sila na kung makita nila sa isang lugar, itawag kaagad sa kapulisan sa 911 o QC helpline 122. Baka sakaling ‘yun ang makapagbibigay ng lead,” she said.
