Photo courtesy of Mark Arjay Reyes</span></span></span></div><div><br/></div><p>MANILA<strong> (UPDATE) </strong>— The reward money for information that could lead to the location of missing bride-to-be Sherra De Juan has been raised to P150,000, as authorities have yet to find leads on her whereabouts and evidence indicating what could have happened to her.</p><p><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/12/17/qcpd-missing-bride-to-be-s-fianc-now-a-person-of-interest-in-her-disappearance-1435">Mark Arjay Reyes</a>, De Juan’s fiancé, said they received overwhelming support from friends, relatives, and even strangers who reached out and offered help.</p><p>“Your kindness gives us strength – but we still need more eyes, more shares, and more people helping,” Reyes said in a Facebook post.</p><p>Reyes said his fiancée went missing <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/12/14/bride-to-be-in-quezon-city-goes-missing-four-days-before-wedding-1952">four days before their scheduled wedding </a>on December 14.</p><p>He said the last message he received from De Juan was on December 10 at around 1 p.m., when she told him she was on her way to Fairview Center Mall to buy the shoes she would wear on their wedding day. De Juan left her cellphone at home while it was charging.</p><p>“Our hearts are breaking, but we are holding on to hope,” Reyes said.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/12/15/police-form-special-team-to-investigate-missing-bride-in-quezon-city-1242">Police form special team to investigate missing bride in Quezon City</a></div><p>De Juan’s mysterious disappearance has drawn public attention and fueled various theories, but police said they were facing challenges in substantiating any of these claims.</p><p>“Possible nga raw na run-away bride,” said Police Major Jennifer Gannaban, chief of the Quezon City Police District Public Information Office.</p><p>“Sa atin, tinitingnan natin lahat talaga. Hindi natin masasabi po sa ngayon na gano’n kasi kailangan makakuha tayo ng ebidensya talaga,” she added.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/12/16/pnp-probes-all-angles-including-foul-play-in-disappearance-of-bride-to-be-in-qc-1354">PNP probes all angles, including foul play, in disappearance of bride-to-be in QC</a></div><p>Police were backtracking CCTV footage from areas De Juan may have passed through, coordinating with police in her home province of Romblon, and working with transportation companies and other security and travel agencies.</p><p>“Challenging talaga. Parang ito pa lang ang case na ganito na wala talagang clue kung saan ka magsisimula,” Gannaban said.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>POLICE INTERVIEW WITH MANAGERS</strong></div><div><br/></div><p>Gannaban said the special investigation team has already interviewed De Juan’s manager. De Juan works as a bookkeeper and usually works remotely or online.</p><p>The manager said there was nothing unusual in De Juan’s behavior, but noted that she filed for sick leave on December 4, which was supposed to be her last working day before taking leave for the wedding.</p><p>“No’ng pumasok siya no’ng December 4, nagpaalam daw ito nang maayos dahil nahihilo siya at nasusuka. Wala naman siyang napansing iba at wala rin siyang ikinuwento,” Gannaban said.</p><p>“Wala rin nabanggit o ikinuwento si Ms. Sherra na problema niya—wala talagang unusual, kaya nagtataka rin sila kung bakit nawala siya,” she added.</p><p>Reyes’ manager was also invited to Camp Karingal to confirm his earlier statement that he was at work when De Juan last messaged him about going to the mall.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>REYES A POI, NOT A SUSPECT</strong></div><div><br/></div><p>Police earlier said that all individuals who had recent communication with De Juan were classified as persons of interest (POI), or individuals who may have information relevant to the investigation.</p><p>Authorities clarified that Reyes is not a suspect in the case.</p><p>“Ang POI po kasi, ito ’yong mga huling taong nakausap o nakasama si Ms. Sherra,” Gannaban said.</p><p>“Nasa kanila po ’yong mga detalye at impormasyong puwedeng makatulong para mahanap natin si Ms. Sherra.”</p><p>Gannaban said POIs may be invited to assist in the investigation and may also decline to cooperate.
