Randy Glenn Silvio said forensic examinations of De Juan’s cellphone and laptop revealed possible indications of emotional distress and suicidal ideation in the days leading up to her disappearance on December 10, just four days before her scheduled wedding.</p><p>“Nakikita namin na parang, opo, distressed siya at may personal dilemma,” Silvio said.</p><p>(What we are seeing is that she appeared distressed and was dealing with a personal dilemma.)</p><p>Silvio shared with ABS-CBN News several messages sent by De Juan to her fiancé Mark Arjay Reyes, including one dated October 30, following an argument over wedding expenses.</p><p>“Sorry na po medyo magulo kasi ang isip ko ngayon, mahal,” De Juan wrote.</p><p>(I’m sorry, my thoughts are a bit scattered right now, my love.)</p><p>In another message, De Juan expressed feeling emotionally overwhelmed.</p><p>“Sige po, looks like nawalan ka na din ng gana. Pasensya na po. Di ko alam, pasensya ka na these past few weeks. Pansin mo sobrang clingy ko sa’yo kasi di lang sa wedding ako natutorn. I&#x27;m actually struggling internally, para akong sasabog. Di ko ma-explain, pero pag nakikita ko presence mo, napupuno ako ng hope. I don&#x27;t know, siguro sa dami ng nangyayari, na-overwhelmed ako,” she said.</p><p>(Okay, it looks like you’ve also lost interest. I’m sorry. I don’t know, please forgive me these past few weeks. You’ve noticed how clingy I’ve been because it’s not just the wedding that’s tearing me apart. I’m actually struggling internally, like I’m about to explode. I can’t explain it, but when I see your presence, I feel filled with hope. I don’t know—maybe with everything happening, I just got overwhelmed.)</p><p>“Gusto ko sana kasing mag-focus lang sa ating dalawa pero laging nahahati, and it makes me sick talaga. Pero kaya to,” she added.</p><p>(I really want to focus on just the two of us, but it’s always divided, and it truly makes me sick. He said she left her cellphone at home while it was charging.</p><p>The couple had been together for ten years.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/12/15/fianc-rejects-claims-that-partner-ran-away-from-their-wedding-2009">Fiancé rejects claims that partner ran away from their wedding</a></div><div><br/></div><div><strong>WHAT’S NEXT?</strong></div><div><br/></div><p>In a separate interview, Reyes admitted experiencing personal and financial difficulties, but appealed for investigators to keep an open mind and continue pursuing other leads.</p><p>“Mas prefer po namin na gano’n, na runaway po, kaysa may nangyari na ’di maganda,” Reyes said.</p><p>(We would prefer it if this were a runaway situation rather than something bad having happened.)</p><p>“Ang gusto lang talaga namin, malaman kung ano ’yong susunod na steps. Baka kasi po natutukan na masyado ’yong anggulong ’yon at nalihis na po sa isyu na nawawala nga po siya,” he added.</p><p>(What we really want is to know the next steps.
