Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said the reward system remained a valuable tool in the police force’s campaign against wanted persons.</p><p>“With or without this reward, nagtatrabaho ang PNP. With the reward, of course, this is an incentive for those who can give information to locate, and in this case, the arrest of wanted persons,” Nartatez said.</p><p>He added that the diversity of this year’s awardees shows how the program encourages citizens from various parts of the country to come forward.</p><p>“Siyempre mapapabilis, nahihikayat natin ang ating mga kababayan.
