Jessie Cruzat, ABS-CBN News</div>MANILA — The Valenzuela City LGU inaugurated the Skate Park &amp; Paw Park situated under the NLEX Harbor Link at Barangay Karuhatan, on Saturday morning, February 15. The newly constructed recreational spaces aim to “bring the community together and develop meaningful connections with each other through their shared passions and interests”. “We can see na very common problem ho ito. Sobrang laking tulong po nitong skatepark,” she said.Meanwhile, pet owners like Lorence Uy grabbed the chance to walk with her pets, saying the hub is the biggest pet park she has visited so far.“Very significant kasi meron na talagang lugar para lang sa pets dedicated kasi usually kasi ang nangyayari minsan mga establishment hindi ka makapunta kasi gusto mo mang pumunta, dala mo pets mo, hindi pwede. Pero dito pwede na kahit anong pets,” said Uy.To enhance the visual appeal of the parks, the city government organized a Mural Art Competition, where local artists transformed the plain concrete into vibrant paintings.The parks have designated park rangers to ensure security in the area, and are open to the public daily, from 5 a.m. to midnight.
