MANILA — The traffic head of Quezon City on Thursday said it would need to collaborate closely with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) to create a meticulous traffic management plan ahead of the expected EDSA repairs this year.

The Department of Public Works and Highways had said that it would rehabilitate the entire stretch of EDSA in 2025 in order to “improve the riding quality of EDSA.”

The QC official said the biggest challenge of the EDSA rehab would be the diversion of vehicles to other roads.
